Whilst studying Anatomical Science at Bristol University (UK), Primrose developed a keen interest in the human body and its function prompting her to complete a Masters in Physiotherapy at King’s College London.
She completed her junior rotations in a North London NHS hospital, UK, where Primrose was exposed to wide variety of areas including Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Respiratory (ITU, surgical, cardiac and paediatrics) and Trauma and Orthopaedics. Having grown up in a sport loving and active family Primrose naturally became interested in working with sports teams, athletes and their associated injuries. Whilst studying Physiotherapy she worked part time with London Cornish Rugby Club providing match day cover and since moving to Abu Dhabi in August 2014, has been working with Abu Dhabi Harlequins Ladies and Mens 2nd team. Primrose has been working for the past year at Healthpoint Hospital in Abu Dhabi working with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions predominantly affecting the peripheral joints.
Through Healthpoint she was selected to assist the tournament Physiotherapist at the Mubadala Tennis tournament in January 2015, provided therapy to Melbourne City Football Club on their visit to the UAE and provided Physiotherapy treatment and advice at the Red Bull Sultan of the Desert event in October 2014.
Primrose enjoys keeping active and loves to explore. She spends many of her weekends fishing, camping or doing water sports in the UAE and Oman. Having completed her first triathlon last summer in the UK she is very keen to get back in the lycra and join the popular Abu Dhabi triathlon scene in 2015/2016.
