About me

Amy Loxley holds a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney, Australia, and a degree in Sports & Exercise Science, with 15 years’ experience of all things physiotherapy.

Amy has worked across ICU, maternity, paediatrics, surgical, orthopaedic, and neurological rehabilitation, and has extensive experience in osteoporosis assessment, management, and fragility fracture prevention, as well as paediatric care. She has spent the past four years working as a paediatric physiotherapist in her local health district, gaining extensive experience in assessment and early intervention of gross motor skills in children aged 0–5 years, and is experienced in allied health interdisciplinary care.

She also has diverse experience in private practice, supporting comprehensive musculoskeletal care for everyday patients through to competitive athletes, including National Rugby League development squads, first-grade Australian football teams, and the Australian Schoolgirls Soccer Team on their 2024 US tour. Amy is exercise-based in her approach, focusing on safe, effective movement to support recovery and long-term health. She is passionate about educating patients to understand their bodies and loves problem-solving with them to find practical solutions for recovery, performance, and health.

Core Skills:

  • Musculoskeletal physiotherapy: assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation
  • Sports rehabilitation and pre-screening for athletes of all levels
  • Paediatric assessments and early intervention (0–5 years)
  • Osteoporosis and fragility fracture prevention
  • Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy
  • Physiotherapy bike fitting

A love of cycling and a family that loves all things bikes led Amy to become certified in physiotherapy bike fitting, helping riders ride comfortably on the road, commute, or optimize performance.

Amy takes a practical, personalised approach to physiotherapy, helping children, athletes, and adults recover from injury, stay strong, and maintain long-term health.

Amy recently moved from Australia for her husband’s work. Outside work, she enjoys training for triathlons, swimming in the sea, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her teens. She loves staying active, having fun, and inspiring others to live healthy, vibrant lives.
